Kristine Olaris is the CEO at Women’s Health East and the Convenor of Gender Equity Victoria, the peak body for gender equity, women’s health and the prevention of violence against women.
An accomplished leader with substantial experience in the women’s, community and health sectors, Kristine is driven by a commitment to social justice, equity, diversity and inclusion.
Kristine has been responsible for many innovative and responsive programs targeting diverse populations. She has driven and supported organisational change in areas such as gender equality, diversity and for the provision of responsive and inclusive services.
Kristine is an engaging speaker, bringing a blend of evidence, plain language and contemporary social commentary to her presentations.
Kristine is a member of the Ministerial Council on Women’s Equality. She also sits on the Independent Advisory Committee implementing recommendations of the VEOHRC report into sex discrimination and sexual harassment in Victoria Police.
