About Me

Julie Reilly leads the Australian Women Donors Network which promotes and catalyses greater investment in women and girls, both through direct funding of women’s initiatives, and through the use of a gender lens in philanthropy. Previously Julie has worked as a media advocate in women’s health and delivered programs for Swinburne’s National Centre for Gender & Cultural Diversity, recruiting women into non-traditional areas of work and study. Julie’s strengths are in communications and relationship management.

Her work experience and skills include:

• federal and state government project management, including international OECD conference events;
• media and public relations;
• marketing and event management ; and
• television and music production.

For the past 20 years Julie has been involved in the production and promotion of the annual Myer Spirit of Christmas CD, which has so far raised more than $8.5m for charity.

Julie was named in Pro Bono’s inaugural IMPACT25 Awards as key leader and influencer in the NFP Sector and as one of the Herald Sun’s ’50 Victorian Women You Need to Know’ on International Women’s Day 2017.

Julie currently contributes on the:

  • Advisory Board – Mecca Brands M-Power Corporate Giving Program

Julie served for eight years as a Director of the Board of the Australian Childhood Foundation.
