Applying for a Grant

We conduct an Annual Grants program made up of two grant rounds:

  • General Grants
  • Sub-Fund Grants

In 2017,  the Victorian Women’s Benevolent Trust sought applications for projects benefiting women and girls, in particular to:

Promote social inclusion and community cohesion in regional Victoria addressing the needs of refugee and migrant families or women or girls who are experiencing socio-economic disadvantage, lack of educational or training opportunities, or who live with a disability or illness.

A list of our 2017 General Grants will be available on our website soon.

The 2017 Sub-Fund Grants Program opened on Thursday 1st June and closed on Monday 31st July 2017.  Assessment of applications is currently underway.

Applicants are encouraged to discuss projects with the grants team prior to submission on phone (03) 9642 0422 or email

Decisions about successful applications are made by Trustees in late July (General Grants) and mid-September (Sub-Fund Grants).
