Renee Carr

Founding Executive Director of Fair Agenda

About Me

Renee Carr is a respected strategist and community campaigner. She is the Founding Executive Director of Fair Agenda – a community of 37,000 Australians campaigning for a fair and equal future for women.

Fair Agenda’s work has featured on The Project and Sunrise, which has helped win additional funding for the services women rely on to escape domestic violence. Fair Agenda’s work has also prevented cuts to working parents’ time to care that would have hurt 79,000 families.

In 2015 Renee’s social justice work saw her named as one of 100 Women of Influence.

Renee has served as Chair of the Board of one of Australia’s largest youth organisations – the Australian Youth Climate Coalition. She has also been a strategic lead on international and national projects. In 2011 she co-directed the Live Below the Line campaign to raise more than $1.4 million for projects tackling extreme poverty.
Renee believes that the future is ours to shape, and that you and the communities you are part of are a powerful force for positive change.
