About Me

Born in Scotland, raised in Oxford, UK and moved to Australia in 2003 with my husband and two sons, I am a leading teacher at Wangaratta High School where I am responsible for staff learning and instructional practice. I have completed advanced training in cognitive coaching and collaborate with colleagues to support the growth of a coaching culture within the school. I am the leader of the English faculty, teaching English language and literature. My involvement in our local community includes being a member of Indigo Shire Atauro Island Friendship Committee, a member of the Beechworth Arts Council, founder member of first Monday Book Group in Beechworth and a singer in the Yackandandah Community Choir. I also practise Satyananda yoga and love walking in the granite hills around Beechworth.
