About Me

Ann is a consultant and academic working in leadership, management and governance in the non-profit sector with a special focus on the arts and cultural industries. For many years she was the Managing Director Melbourne Theatre Company. These days, she helps companies improve their governance, strategic planning and organisational culture. She has written on cultural economics and arts leadership and is the author of The A to Z of Arts Management (2016). She also teaches graduate management courses at the University of Melbourne and Central Queensland University. Other management experience includes Station Manager of ABC Radio National and 6UVS-FM. She has an Honours degree in Economics and an MBA. Ann has been on many boards including for superannuation, employer and industry associations, theatre, opera and dance companies.
