About Me

Currently Emeritus Professor, Chair of the King and O’Malley Trust, visiting professor at the Education University of Hong Kong and education consultant. Formerly Head of the School of Education at RMIT University, Chair of the Victorian Council of Deans of Education, President of the Australian Association for Environmental Education and the Gould League of Victoria, Vice President of the Science Teachers’ Association of Victoria, and an academic at Deakin University.

Annette has worked with UNESCO, UNEP and UNEVOC on numerous research and development projects, and at universities in South Africa and Canada. Annette has been a secondary teacher in Victoria and worked with the Curriculum Development Centre and the Commonwealth Environment Ministry in educational leadership roles. Her areas of research interest and expertise span Environmental, Sustainability and Science Education, Research Methodologies, Posthuman and Gender Studies and Social Equity.
