About Me
Megan is a telecommunications professional with over 19 years of experience. She is well versed in Access Network domains spanning HFC, FTTP, FTTN and FTTB. She also has practical hands-on experience with Long Haul DWDM transmission platforms and metro fibre networks.
She is has performed functions from network planning, design, architecture validation, document creation, engineering support and technology training.
Megan is also a community leader, is an experienced community broadcaster and she is also a public speaker.
In a volunteer capacity Megan holds many community leadership positions: she is a Board Director of the Victorian Pride Centre (VPC), Co-chair of the VPC Communications and Social Media Committee, Co-Chair VPC Community Reference Group, Chair of the Australian New Zealand Professional Association for Transgender Health (ANZPATH) Community Advisory Committee, and Founder of the nbn LGBTIQ network Pride@nbn.
