About Me

Laura Douglas is a Lawyer at Justitia, a boutique employment, discrimination and labour relations law firm based in Melbourne.

Laura provides clients with advice relating to the full life cycle of the employment relationship, from recruitment through to termination. She also conducts workplace investigations and assists organisations with the management of sexual harassment and bullying complaints as well as the defence of unfair dismissal and general protections applications.

Laura has a particular interest in advising clients in relation to flexible work arrangements and is frequently asked to present on this and other topics at seminars and conferences. Laura also delivers a variety of workplace training programs regarding equal opportunity laws.

Laura has published extensively in industry journals and the mainstream media on numerous topics relating to employment and discrimination law, including fat discrimination, sexual harassment via social media, unconscious bias and Islamophobia.
