Leader, Rural Innovation Research Group

About Me

Ruth leads the Rural Innovation Research Group in the Faculty of Veterinary and Agricultural Science at the University of Melbourne, Australia. Along with a University teaching role, Ruth conducts engaged research with industry groups, communities and stakeholders, with outputs that are meaningful and directly used by these groups to inform policies, strategies and the design and evaluation of change interventions. Ruth’s specialist research fields include: agricultural workforce development; farm employment relations and farm workforce planning; agricultural advisory and extension systems; agricultural innovation.
