About Me

Mayase is a Senior Business Analyst/Iteration Manager Consultant for ThoughtWorks a global technology consultancy. As an Agile software delivery specialist, she has led teams across Australia, China and India.

She is passionate about making education accessible to every child regardless of their background and increasing the participation of women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

She was awarded the Young Business and Professional Woman of the Year in 2013. As a member of Business and Professional Women Australia, she coordinated and fundraised for the “Days for Girls” initiative. This is an initiative that produces feminine hygiene kits to be distributed to girls in developing countries. By reducing the number of days girls miss school because of mensuration, the organisation works to empower future leaders and making steps towards gender equity.

She is the creator of “The Art of Otherness”, a platform for debate and conversation on otherness and fearless authenticity. Her Podcast intends to make gender, race, sexual orientation, religion etc none topics one conversation at a time.
