Kate James is a coach and meditation teacher who specialises in working with clients who want to live balanced and purposeful lives. Drawing on teachings from Positive Psychology, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness, Kate encourages her clients to align personal values and strengths with their life and career choices.
As a sought after work-life balance and meditation media expert, Kate helps her clients focus on what really matters.
Kate facilitates meditation and creativity workshops and speaks to corporate groups about managing stress, mindfulness and balance. Kate also runs an annual meditation and creativity retreat in Byron Bay.
Kate was one of the first Australian coaches to achieve Professional Certified Coach accreditation with International Coach Federation in 2005. She has first-hand experience of the work-life-balance challenge, having spent the past 25 years juggling marriage, motherhood and a successful career.
