About Me

Kerrie has over 20 years’ experience working in the community sector for local and state government with the occasional foray into working for NGOs. Her roles have spanned direct service, policy, teaching and leadership. Her work is largely within the youth sector, though it has crossed into many other areas such as mental health, cultural diversity, disability and gender. Kerrie currently works to increase the workforce diversity of an inner-city council. She teaches youth work at RMIT and serves as the Deputy Chair of YACVic: Victoria’s peak body for young people and the youth sector.

Kerrie is passionate about public participation and social justice which drives and shapes all her work, and indeed her life.

Outside of this work Kerrie is a seasoned singer and trivia host who is often called upon to MC or host events.
