About Me

Pam is a Senior Lecturer in Sport Management at La Trobe University. Her areas of expertise include volunteer management, youth, children, disability and minority groups and the impact of sport participation and development in the community. Pam has secured a number of research grants and has consulted to many sport organisations and government agencies such as the VicHealth, YMCA, Special Olympics, Masters Sport, Tennis Victoria, Sport and Recreation Victoria, and Kings IV IPL Cricket in India. Her most recent research is the Psychological Contract of Volunteers in the Not-for-profit sector and the development of a resource and website for volunteers working in the sport and recreation sector with Sport and Recreation Victoria. Pam also guides and teaches within the Sport Management program at La Trobe University. Pam is also a committee member of Volunteering Victoria’s Volunteering in Sport Special Interest Group and board member of the Australian Camps Association.
