About Me

I have been a performer, writer and content creator for over 20 years, in live performance, on radio and TV, online and in print.

I am a highly polished and professional broadcaster, speaker, commentator and facilitator. I am driven to always find the most creative and unique ideas, and to create uplifting experiences that are fun, thought provoking and authentic. The key areas I am deeply passionate about are:
o gender equality
o healthy development for girls
o mindfulness and resilience
o personal brand
o mental health

I am the creator of the Play Like A Girl series, for readers aged 8 – 10, about an under 11’s girls footy team. Books 1 – 4 were released in November 2017, and are available here: http://www.fivemile.com.au/catalog/fiction/play-girl-totally-epic
Books 5 and 6 will be released in 2018.

I regularly write for the Sunday Life. As a broadcaster I was most recently on the Jo and Lehmo show on Gold 104.3, achieving the station’s best ratings results in 10 years. Prior to that I spent 10 years as one half of Melbourne’s number 1 Breakfast Radio Show, The Matt and Jo Show. I continue to appear on television, mainly on Channel 7’s House Of Wellness and Channel 9’s Today Show.

In addition to my continuing work in the media and as an author, I now lead corporate workshops in Resilience and Presentation Skills, and key note presentations in Personal Brand Development. I’m also available for writing workshops for all ages!

I am an ambassador for the Lighthouse Foundation and Smiling Mind. I love AFL footy, fashion, meditation, my daughter Willow and my husband Darren.
