The Victorian Women’s Benevolent Trust manages a range of distinct Sub-Funds, each a living tribute to a woman’s vision and legacy. Every Sub-Fund annually supports innovative, gender equality projects that support Victorian women and girls to thrive.
How it works
Sub-Funds sit within our grant-making arm, the Victorian Women’s Benevolent Trust, and are designed to grow, year after year.
Minimum endowment
Each fund is established with a minimum endowment of $100,000.
80%
of interest is granted annually.
20%
of interest is reinvested.
All
contributions are tax-deductible.

The initial endowment and all donations towards a given Sub-Fund are invested in perpetuity through the Victorian Women’s Benevolent Trust. Each year, 80% of interest earned is granted to grassroots projects that align with the vision of each Sub-Fund. The remaining 20% is reinvested to grow funds for future generations.
Yes. The Victorian Women’s Benevolent Trust is a registered deductible gift recipient, so all contributions are fully tax-deductible.
Grants are awarded annually through the Victorian Women’s Benevolent Trust, which manages a range of Sub-Funds, each guided by the vision of the woman they honour. Founders of the Sub-Fund are invited to be part of this process.
