Our Vision
A feminist future for us all.
We’re striving for a future where women, girls and gender diverse people are valued, know their worth, and have the power and freedom to take action on the issues that matter, together.
Purpose and Mission
We create space to take on the biggest feminist challenges of our time.
VWT brings people together to share information, resources, and meaningful connections so that we can actually do something about the gender inequalities we see and experience every day.

Our Values
More than aspirational; our values are operational and lived-in.
Our values shape how we show up, how we work, and what we refuse to compromise on. Backed by decades of experience, they reflect who we are and the choices we make in pursuit of a feminist future for us all.
Kindness
Encapsulates our way of operating with respect, generosity, and compassion. No matter what, we’re still kind.
Inclusivity
We are understanding and aware of complexity, nuance, context and history.
Deep listening
Humility. We know we don’t have all the answers, and that we’re stronger and smarter when we stop and really hear each other.
Curiosity
An active willingness to explore, question and share new ideas. We’re genuinely interested in the full breadth of women’s lives and what holds them back.
Independence
We’re led by our feminist values, and won’t be swayed by external forces.
Moxie
Fundamental to our activism. We believe a better world is possible.
Hope
Fundamental to our activism. We believe a better world is possible.

So that in this lifetime we will be:
- equally paid for the same work
- safe on the streets and in our homes
- equally represented in our parliament and leadership positions
- in charge of our own bodies
- free to live the full breadth of our lives, without fear
