Sub-Fund founder Lesley Vick (LLB, MA) is a specialist in medico-legal ethics who has spent her career at the intersection of law, reproductive justice, and human rights. This Sub-Fund embodies the free-thinking and progressive idealism shared by Lesley and her partner, Kenneth (Ken) Davidson (1938–2025).

How does the Lesley Vick Sub-Fund support women?
Reproductive rights need permanent funding. The work of protecting reproductive rights doesn’t have an end date, and neither should the funding. Abortion has been decriminalised in Victoria. But barriers to essential healthcare services still exist today, especially for those in regional areas, on low incomes, or facing providers who refuse.
