FLEUR-and-ondine

Fleur Spitzer Sub-Fund

Established in 2016, the Fleur Spitzer Sub-Fund honours the legacy of one of Melbourne’s most influential philanthropists, Fleur Spitzer OAM.

We are proud to recognise Fleur’s immense contribution, made possible thanks to the generosity of her daughter, Ondine, who enables us to continue this vital legacy. Since the 1980s, Fleur’s philanthropy has had an immeasurable impact on the lives of many in the community, serving as a shining example for other female philanthropists.

For nearly 20 years, her support of the Victorian Women’s Trust was unwavering, specifically funding projects that assist women and girls facing real and prolonged disadvantage. This fund continues that spirit by supporting projects that increase literacy and educational opportunities for women and girls, while also identifying and addressing the barriers that deny older women safety, security, and dignity.
