The Trustees of the Victorian Women’s Benevolent Trust established the Ruth Owens and Kevin Lynch Sub-Fund in 2019. The Sub-Fund is thanks to the vision and generosity of Ruth Owens and Kevin Lynch.
Ruth and Kevin believe Equality means you have to give something up and that is what this Sub-Fund aims to do. They’re ready to help improve the lives of women and their children who are reaching for a better life.
Our Sub-Fund Grants Program is now open, from Monday 19 July until Monday 30 August 2021. In 2021 the Ruth Owens and Kevin Lynch Sub-Fund will take applications for grants of up to $3,750.
The Ruth Owens and Kevin Lynch Sub-Fund will provide practical help at critical times that can create real and lasting positive change for women experiencing socio-economic hardship. It will support grassroots projects that address and enhance educational and employment opportunities for
We welcome donations to this Sub-Fund. All contributions help build the financial pool for making grants and are fully tax-deductible.
In 2017, sixteen small grants were given for a range of projects that in one way or another will improve the lives of women and girls or women and their families.Read more
