Our Grants

Our grants help women, girls and gender diverse people to thrive. Since 1985, we have seen our targeted grants help community projects take shape, grow and change lives.

We are one of Australia’s few grant-makers dedicated to supporting women and girls across Victoria. Each year, we give to high impact initiatives through our community grants program; and proudly honour the life and contribution of women through our many Sub-Funds.

Our Sub-Funds

Our Sub-Funds honour women who have made a valuable contribution to the lives of women and girls or in memory of special women whose own lives were remarkable in what they achieved.

Our Story

Since 1985, the Victorian Women’s Benevolent Trust has given more than $8 million in grants to nearly 700 social change projects that have improved the lives of Victorian women, girls, non-binary, and gender diverse people.
