Rebecca is the Managing Director of Indigenous Women in Business, CEO of Moorditj, and a Noongar woman from Perth living in Melbourne.
Having previously managed and coordinated Indigenous employment and women in leadership initiatives and economic development programs, Rebecca is passionate about equality and Indigenous self-determination.
In her 18 years in the workforce, Rebecca has worked in a number of industries from fashion to mining. Rebecca is a consultant, public speaker and mentor, having spoken at Koorie Youth Summit in 2014, the Charles Sturt University Symposium, and at the Screen Australia Brilliant Careers Symposium.
Rebecca hopes to make an impact in Australia on closing the gap for women and Indigenous people and she aims to make money through commercial entrepreneurship to fund innovative projects focused on equality. She is focused on economic empowerment, education and social services and has also found time to work on two startups of her own.
