Margot Foster AM is an lawyer by profession, sports administrator and former elite athlete. She has combined these areas of interest and experience into her new direction in business of dispute resolution and governance with a particular focus on sports organisations.
Whilst combining sport and the law Margot has served on many bodies from the club to the international level including several government appointments. She is presently chairman of Vicsport and serves on several other boards. Margot became a Member of the Order of Australia in 2015 for services to sports governance and administration, as an elite athlete and for her support for women in sport.
Margot is Founder and Director of Talk the Talk, a solutions-oriented enterprise which deals with all manner of disputes that are capable of being mediated – and resolved. Margot won a bronze medal at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics.
