Hunter Johnson is the Co-Founder of The Man Cave, a preventative mental health & emotional intelligence program for boys and young men.
Hunter is passionate about developing social and emotional skills in young people. The Man Cave combats unhealthy perceptions of masculinity, social isolation and ineffective coping strategies to better support the successful transition from boyhood to adulthood. Hunter also works as the Enterprise & Changemaking Manager at the Foundation for Young Australians (FYA) where his team delivers Young Social Pioneers, Australia’s leading incubator program for social entrepreneurs. Hunter’s work has led him to speak around the world, presenting at the United Nations, the Sydney Opera House and various universities. He is a Fellow of the School for Social Entrepreneurs, an Honouree of the JCI Australia 10 Outstanding Young Persons Award, listed by Third Sector Magazine as one of 12 young Australians shaping our future and a nominee for 2017 Young Australian of the Year.
