Cathy McGowan AO, Federal Member for Indi, ran as an independent candidate during the September 2013 Federal election, taking office due to the public looking for more community representation in Canberra. Cathy is a representative of the people of Indi in a diverse electorate stretching from the Murrindindi Shire to the Victorian border. Her policies revolve around transport, telecommunications, health, young people, education and agriculture and food production.
