Deb Tsorbaris

Deb has held executive positions in community service organisations working across disability, drugs and alcohol, youth services and employment programs. She has also held executive positions within the public service including Director Client Services, and Executive Advisor Homelessness Reform.

Deb has provided policy advice to state and federal governments on a range of issues and has sat on numerous boards and committees.

Prior to joining the Department of Human Services, Deb was CEO of the Victorian Council to Homeless Persons. Since 2013 Deb has been the CEO of The Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare which is the peak body for child and family services in Victoria. The Centre provides sector training, facilitates and publishes research, and work and advocate for better transitions for young people leaving state care, and better supports for struggling families.

Deb is currently the Co-Chair of Victorian Government’s Roadmap for Reform Implementation Ministerial Advisory Group.
