Eastern Community Legal Centre (ECLC) provides free legal advice and assistance to the communities of the Eastern Metropolitan Region of Melbourne, as well as undertaking community development and education projects.
Eastern Community Legal Centre has a team of approximately 40 staff and over 100 volunteers with offices in Melbourne and Healesville. ECLC has extensive and ongoing expertise in assisting people affected by family violence.
Through the provision of a legal outreach service, this project will increase access for vulnerable women to specialist legal advice and support, with a particular focus on family violence intervention orders, child protection and family law.
