The Victorian Women's Trust is proud to have formed a twelve month partnership with this exciting and innovative enterprise at 128 Smith Street Collingwood. The Trust will assist where it can in opening doors for retail and philanthropic support.
Founded in 2009 by Grace McQuilten, The Social Studio is providing training for the fashion industry to recently arrived young refugees. They learn skills in design , manufacture and retailing of clothing in an atmosphere that offers social support.
Recycled and excess manufacturing materials are redesigned by the young people. View their collection and learn more about why this is such a good enterprise to support.
