| Currently we have four categories of available funds for making grants: 1. Annual General Grants Program Our Grants program for 2010 closed on Friday 29 January, 2010.
 
Applicants will be notified of outcomes in July.
Our major focus for 2010 is on disability and young women, especially in light of the recent Federal Government Report Shut Out. We will however also fund some grants that address economic, social and cultural disadvantage experienced by women and girls in Victoria. The 2011 Grants program will open for applications in October 2010.
2. The Con Irwin Sub Fund For initiatives tackling discrimination, violence and inequality of educational opportunity. Read more 3. The Essie Burbridge Sub Fund For initiatives that build bridges between European, Middle Eastern and Asian cultures. Read more 4. The Johnstone Gumption Sub Fund For initiatives that engage women as active citizens, harness women's experience and wisdom and support indigenous women's health literacy. Read more
| Important considerations in making your application: Eligibility We are unable to fund individuals. Applicant organisations must produce evidence of Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status and Income Tax Exempt Charity status upon application. However you will need to select one category only from those offered. The Application Form also has some general guidelines that need to be followed.
