| Since
its inception, the Trust has been involved in an enormous range of
events. Though not all have raised substantial funds for the work
of the Trust, they have nonetheless reaped benefits in terms of Trust
exposure to a wider audience; the establishment of strong linkages
with a raft of women’s community and corporate organisations;
and a growing sense that the Trust plays a key role in the intellectual
life of the Victorian community, especially in providing opportunities
for women that would otherwise not exist.
The following is a chronology of
Trust events from 1989 onwards (note that there are no records of
any events in the first four years of the Trust).
