2.When is my membership renewal due?

Lieu can be contacted by phone on 9642-0422 or email vwt@vwt.org.au to let you know your individual membership renewal date. Otherwise letters are sent out to remind members a month before renewals are due.

3.Does the VWT reciprocate on memberships with other organizations?

The VWT does offer reciprocal memberships. Please speak with our receptionist for details.

4.Do you provide loans to women in small business?

The VWT did provide loans to women starting up a small business when the VWT was first established but this was stopped after a short term and the VWT no longer do so. For any business or financial advice we suggest you contact any of the following:

5.I want to apply for a grant through the VWT. How do I do this?

Our Grants Program typically starts at the beginning of each calander year. Interested applicants can email women@vwt.org.au to be added to our granting database and alerted to the Guidelines once they are released (click here to see the 2004 Guidelines. Please note guidelines are updated each round). The VWT does not provide grants to individuals, only to organisations with DGR (Deductible Gift Recipient) status. For more information on DGR status, see the Australian Tax Office website. Projects must focus on improving conditions for women living in Victoria.

6.Is the VWT related to the Queen Victoria Women’s Centre?

The VWT and the Queen Victoria Women’s Centre are separate organizations and not related at all other than the good work done by women for women.

7.How do I find out about VWT events?

Members are informed of events through letters sent out in the mail or through our e-bulletin. Otherwise events are also posted on our website or the office is happy to talk on the phone.
